We imagine a world where being sober is not questioned or anonymous, but out in the open for the undeniably positive choice it is.
Right now, giving up drinking is hard. Alcohol is perceived as the fun best friend; the life and soul of the party. Sober is seen as the boring loser hiding in a church basement. Being sober is tough, doing it alone is lonely.
Let’s make friends with sober.
Let's support and encourage those that have chosen to give up drinking. Remember, giving up alcohol doesn't mean you lose your sense of humour. Let's celebrate all the good stuff being sober brings to our lives.
And let’s respect each other’s choices. If people want to drink, go ahead, fill your boots. Just make space for the people who don’t.
Make space for sober.
